Welcome to my blog ‘TweetMyWheat’.
For all those who don’t know me I am a history teacher but am also an amateur cook/baker who regularly cooks for large amounts of people over the weekends. My family, friends and colleagues often get to taste much of my baking. However I get the most pleasure from making bread especially Challah (traditional Jewish bread).
Whilst in Israel over Pesach (Passover 2015) I came to the realisation that I wanted to set myself a challenge of making a new bread every week and how better to chart it than to blog. As you will notice I am not a natural writer and therefore you need to bear with my writing etiquette.
I am looking forward to embarking on this new journey and I hope you enjoy the ride with me. I welcome all comments and tips as I go along.
